Baidu, CATL Sign Strategic Partnership Agreement to Empower New Ecosystem for Autonomous Driving
Recently, Beijing Baidu Netcom Science & Technology Co., Ltd. ("Baidu") and CATL held a strategic cooperation signing ceremony in Ningde, Fujian. The partnership will jointly promote the widespread adoption and development of autonomous mobility services and the application of AI in industrial settings, focusing on the pivotal areas of autonomous driving and digital intelligence.
The two companies will seek collaborative opportunities leveraging their respective advantageous resources, including but not limited to the integration of CATL's power batteries, battery swapping products and services, and skateboard chassis technology into the development and application of autonomous vehicle products. The two companies will also work to explore and create competitive, cutting-edge autonomous vehicle products and innovative business models, so as to provide users with more convenient and high-quality mobility services.
As a domestic leading technology enterprise, Baidu will leverage its full-stack self-developed AI capabilities across chips, platforms, and applications to comprehensively support CATL's digital and intelligent transformation.
